Delegation from Goldsmiths, University of London visited exchanged views with ICCI on talent cultivation

On July 9, Weimin ZHANG, Dean of ICCI, and Jiachen LIU, Manager of Cooperation Relations Office, received the visit from the delegation of Goldsmiths, University of London at ICCI Zizhu Teaching and Research Base. The delegation of Goldsmiths, University of London included Professor William Latham, Professor Jonathan Freeman and Ph.D. Xueni PAN.

Daniel Leiker, CEO of Afterclass Educational Media and Technology Venture Company, Arnaud Baernhoft, founder and CEO of Fast Sword Company,and other professionals in creative industries also joined the visit.

Dean ZHANG expressed his sincere welcome to the delegation and industrial partners, and then introduced the development process and branding activities of ICCI, and detailed on its "Internationalization, Interdisciplinary, Industry-orientation" talent-cultivation model.

The delegation visited the ICCI of Shanghai Jiao Tong University-Manheng Institute of Virtual Reality Innovation Education and the "Innovation, Creativity, Entrepreneurship - Creative Practice" course exhibition slash the first artificial intelligence interactive art exhibition. The delegation spoke highly of the advanced teaching facilities and artistic environment.

In the afternoon, delegation of Goldsmiths, University of London and ICCI exchanged views at an academic seminar. Associate Professor Titus LEVI, Associate Professor Haoqing WANG, Visiting Professor Alexander LERCH attended the seminar. Both sides presented their cross-border research and projects of art and technology.
