Qian WU
Research Field: Human-Computer Interaction, AI-Mediated Communication, Computational Sociology
Dr. Qian Wu earned her Ph.D. from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University. Her research interest lies in the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Computational Sociology. Specifically, her work explores (1) the impact of linguistic cues on human-machine collaborations and knowledge co-creation, (2) the psychological and behavioral influences of visual cues and visual design, and (3) the methodological transformations and governance challenges in the digital era.
Dr. Wu has published several papers in leading journals and conferences, including the JASIST (SSCI Q1), ASIS&T, JCDL, and ICA. She was recognized as the "Best Paper Reviewer" at ASIS&T 2023 and received the WKWSCI 2022 Teaching Excellence Award.
Dr. Wu holds a Master of Arts in Media Economics from Renmin University of China, as well as Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Economics from Xiamen University.
