Xin WANG
Research Field: Supply Chain Management, AI-empowered Design of Complex Systems
Xin WANG, graduated with a Bachelor's degree and PhD from the University of Hong Kong, awarded the Hong Kong (China) PhD Fellowship (HKPF) and the First-Class Honor. She leads a research project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation for Young Scientists and is a recipient of Shanghai Talent Program. She has received silver award at International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, the first prize in the “Kede Cup” China Machinery Industry Industry-Education Integration Education and Teaching Innovation Competition, the first prize in the Shanghai Science Popularization Competition, and Chu Tsun Hong Outstanding Research Achievement Award. She has supervised students to win the second prize in the China Graduate Engineering Management Case Competition.
She formerly served as master data analyst for LVMH P&C China Capacity Project. She is a director of the IISE (Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers) operational excellence division board. She is the youth editorial board member of Industrial Engineering journal. She serves as the youth committee member of Digital Twin, Industrial Design Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Human-Centered Intelligent Manufacturing and IEEE Digital Manufacturing and Human-Centered Automation Technical Committee, and a researcher of the China Society of Logistics.
She is engaged in research on AI-empowered supply chain management and complex system design, with multiple papers published in journals such as Robotics and Computer-Integrated Manufacturing and European Journal of Operational Research. She has delivered multiple invited talks at domestic and international conferences.
