Yefu QIAN received his Bachelor of Science, Master of Journalism and Communication, and Ph.D. in Journalism and Communication from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He also earned a Master of Management Studies from the University of Southern California. After completing his Ph.D., he conducted postdoctoral research at the School of International and Public Affairs and the China Institute for Urban Governance at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and was selected for the Shanghai “Super Postdoctoral” Incentive Program and the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (Grade C) of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.

Yefu QIAN has led several research projects, including a Youth Project of the Ministry of Education in Humanities and Social Sciences, a fellowship from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and a Shanghai Art Studies Planning Project. His research focuses on cultural narratives and communication in digital cultural products, the deep integration of urban cultural tourism spaces with digital media, and digital cultural and artistic theories in the context of artificial intelligence. As first author, he has published papers in journals such as Southeast Academic Research, Exploration and Free Views, Publishing Research, and Studies in Culture & Art, and some of his work has been fully reprinted by the RUC Reprint Series. He has also received the Second Prize of the Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award in Humanities and Social Sciences from the Ministry of Education (second contributor) and the First Prize of the Shanghai Decision-Making Consultation Research Award (second contributor).
