On November 16,2025, as an invited project under the "Supporting Young Artists Program" of the 24th Shanghai International Arts Festival, "The Future to See Future—2025 Shanghai" successfully concluded at the Shanghai Bingang Commercial Center. This digital creativity extravaganza, spanning nearly a month, utilized cutting-edge technologies—including AI-driven installations, brain-computer interface (BCI) interactions, and large-scale VR—to promote the integrated development of culture, sports, tourism, and commerce; it shattered the stereotype that "high technology belongs solely to young people," thereby creating a digital cultural sharing platform accessible to all.

THE MINT – COINect Special Exhibition for Sino-UK Minting Culture Exchange

Using coins as a medium to connect cities and facilitate dialogues between civilizations.

Supported and promoted by the Information Office of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, THE MINT – Sino-UK Minting Culture Exchange Event and the COINect Special Exhibition were held at Royal Mint Court, the former site of the Royal Mint in London from June 8 to 14. Approved as a funded project under Shanghai’s 2024 "International Communication of Chinese Culture" Program, this exhibition also served as one event of the 2025 "Our Water" Season 2 Shanghai-London Twin-City Dialogue Series.

Centered on the theme "COINect", the exhibition showcased Chinese coins, medals and minting culture overseas for the first time in the form of a special exhibition. Marking the 105th anniversary of the founding of Shanghai’s minting industry, the exhibition took coins and medals as cultural carriers. Through 105 coins and medals grouped into 50 sets, it narrated stories across time, presented the renewal along the mother river of the city, and envisioned an innovative shared future.

"The Future to See Future – UK-China Youth Digital Creativity Exhibition" (2024 London)

The "The Future to See Future – UK-China Youth Digital Creativity Exhibition" (2024 London), as the sole official partner event of the "2024 London Design Festival" hosted by Chinese universities, was officially opened to the public from September 14 to 17, aiming to encourage young people from both China and the UK to empower a better world through creative technology. The exhibition showcased over thirty works spanning technologies such as virtual reality (VR), AI-generated content, data visualization, encrypted calligraphy, and digital art installations, covering themes including traditional Chinese culture, environmental protection and sustainable development, music, art, education, and the intelligent future. The exhibition received a letter of appreciation from the Chinese Embassy in the United Kingdom, congratulating the "Future·View – China-UK Youth Digital Creativity Exhibition" on its successful conclusion, expressing gratitude to Shanghai Jiao Tong University for its role in advancing public diplomacy through this exhibition, and extending best wishes for even greater success in the future for the "Future·View" platform—a global platform for China's digital culture to expand internationally.

"The Future to See Future" VR Art Exhibition (2021, Shanghai)

How will future generations perceive the future? From which space do we enter, and to which space are we heading? How does art from the two-dimensional world evolve within a multidimensional space? The "The Future to See Future" VR Art Exhibition, hosted at the "Chuang+ Space" within the M50 Creative Park, invites visitors to embark on an exploration together. Visitors can independently wear VR headsets to traverse six distinct artistic worlds depicted by six VR artworks. VR technology not only reconfigures spatial dimensions but is also reshaping human perception and senses. Within this transformative process, every individual becomes an experimental subject, capable of actively participating in both creation and exploration.

This VR (Virtual Reality) art exhibition, characterized by its distinct experimental and academic nature, received funding from the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission's Leading Project on Cultural-Entrepreneurship and Education Integration, and has also served as the prototype of the "Future View" International Digital Intelligence Culture Exchange and Co-creation Platform, which aims to lead the global expansion of China's digital culture.

Journey Through the VR+Art Space: Blurred Boundaries

In 2000, art reshaped the Suzhou Creek waterfront. Artists redefined the riverside art community on Moganshan Road.

In 2020, at the 3rd Yangtze River Delta Cultural Industry Expo, waterfront artists transcended the constraints of limited physical space, blurred dividing lines, gathered online, and built an infinitely expandable M50.

The M50 exhibition area presents a VR+art space experience titled Blurred Boundaries. Via VR conversations, eight representative artists from the park were invited to open up their art studios. This exhibition condenses the two-decade development of M50 and the growth of its artist community, making it the first VR work showcasing regional cultural development at the booth of the Yangtze River Delta Cultural Industry Expo.

Top of City — 5G+XR Creative Technology Exhibition (Shanghai Tower, 2019)

Looking back at that summer, within just one month, more than 220,000 citizens and tourists ascended to the observation deck on the 119th floor of Shanghai Tower—the tallest building in China and the pinnacle of urban heights—where they experienced China's first high-altitude sci-tech exhibition operating in a fully 5G environment, setting numerous "firsts" in the country.
