Element Assignment

* These elements must be included in your film.

TIME: The competition shoot runs from 9am Thursday June 8th to 9am Saturday June 10.  The entire content of the ‘Film’ must be shot between these times. The actual duration of the competition is 48 hours.

* Those who are ICCI Masters of Cinema and Xclub members may take advantage of ICCI film pre-production, production and postproduction facilities and International film masters’ supervision on the movie set and studios.

REGISTRATION: Please register your team to icci48hours@163.com with an email address that is accessible before, during, and after the competition.  The deadline for registration is June 2nd, 2017.  There is no registration fee for the competition of ICCI 48 Hours 2017.

Preparation/ each team might organize crew and cast, secure the equipment prior to the official time period.

There will be an idea pitch and cast audition on May 28th, 2017 organized by ICCI Masters of Cinema. All are welcomed to attend.

MAX DURATION: The duration of the Film will be between 1 minute, and 8 minutes, including Titles and all Credits of the film.

FILM SUBMISSION: The entire Entry must be in File format only within our specification guidelines listed below.  ALL teams must submit the completed film with the screener’s link and password to icci48hours@163.com by 9am of Saturday June 10th, 2017.

1. You may shoot and edit your team intro before or during the Competition.
2. Your Film must include those two required elements both a prop and a line of dialogue to be eligible for judging.
3. Your Film must include the Final closing credit: “Made as part of ICCI 48HOURS 2017”
4. Original Music entries must be created specifically on the Shoot dates. Composers and music contributors must fill out a release form.
5. Cast and crew can be volunteers or professionals.
6. All Films must be in English or have English subtitles.

Your film Entry must include the following video content in the following order:

Your Team intro: Title and Team

The Film: Between 1 minute and 8 minutes long, including credits, and ending with “Made as part of ICCI 48Hours 2017”

Audio Codec: AAC-LC

File extension: mp4 or mov

Framerate: 24fps

Resolution: 1024 x 576 (SD), 1280 x 720 (HD), 1920 x 1080 (HD)

Aspect Ratio: 16:9

Audio Bitrate: 192 kilobits per second (i.e 192 kb/s)

Audio Sample Rate: 48kHz (ie – 48,000 Hz)

The ICCI 48 hours film premiere will be premiered on June 24th and the assembled crowd will vote for an Audience Award. A jury of film professionals

will also give one film its top prize, the ICCI Zizhu Cash Award.
