A delegation from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, led by Emmy-winning screenwriter and former Hollywood Reporter Executive Editor Stephen Galloway, recently visited USC-SJTU Institute of Cultural and Creative Industry(ICCI) to explore collaboration. The group, which included Senior Associate Dean Michael Kowalski and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Pavel Jech, was warmly welcomed by Weimin ZHANG, Dean of ICCI, and faculty representatives.

The delegation toured ICCI’s state-of-the-art Zizhu Teaching and Research Base, featuring the 4D Film Arts and Technology Lab, Post-Production and Multi-Media Center, and AI Music and Sound Studio. They gained a firsthand impression of the school’s international vision, cutting-edge facilities, and advanced educational resources.

Dodge College, ranked 4th among U.S. film schools by The Hollywood Reporter in 2021, is a leader in cultivating top creative talent. During a symposium, the two institutions shared achievements in talent development, academic innovation, and industry collaboration. Discussions focused on international talent training, advancements in film education, industry trends, and collaborative practices, and bridging academia with industry.
