不知不觉，为期两周的“Global Hollywood”课程已经结束。来自传媒专业排名世界第一的南加州大学安纳伯格传媒与新闻学院（USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism）的David Craig教授与文创2018级学子们度过了充实难忘的两周。
小伙伴们与David教授相处了整整两周，授课时长增加后，大家对好莱坞的了解更充分了。在David教授幽默、严谨的教学风格影响下，ICCI的课堂呈现出不一样的活跃氛围。除传统的讲授课程内容外，David教授更擅长培养同学们结合实际进行研究的思维和自由表达的能力。
然而ICCIers觉得最让大家在“好莱坞”课程中觉得有挑战性的是什么呢？听说是演讲载体工具Prezi的使用！在Prezi大师David的影响下，大家学习并使用了这种全新的制作演示稿的软件，与传统的PPT演示软件不同，Prezi有着酷炫的动画与夺目的展示功能，让大家都印象深刻！这种软件主要通过缩放动作和快捷动作进行演讲演示，能够更完美，更生动地帮助演讲人展示自己的内容。
与David教授相处两周时光，是快乐的，是美好的，是不舍的，是值得细细品味的。习惯了David风趣的笑话，幽默的发问和“好莱坞”式的教学方式，这一切对我们都是宝贵的。
2018 marks my fourth year teaching my Global Hollywood class in the SJTU ICCI Masters program. My Global Hollywood course considers how America’s media industries are structured and designed to operate globally. The students conduct and present research on the challenges and opportunities for China’s media industries to succeed globally. Over two weeks, the course is immersive and intense, with a lot of late nights conducting media industries research, crafting engaging presentations, and writing argument essays. Every class I teach has its own personality and this year is no different. This year’s class features more than 60 of the brightest, most talented, and enthusiastic students I have taught in my career. I look forward to watching them grow in the program and succeed after they graduate.
