在科技日新月异的今天，数字技术正以前所未有的速度改变着文化的传播形态与交流模式。本次讲座将讲述中国与越南在文化遗产数字化保护、数字艺术表现、网络文学影视作品、游戏动漫等新兴领域中的创新突破，同时探讨全球化进程中数字文化所带来的机遇与挑战，尤其是在跨国文化交流、知识产权保护以及本土文化国际传播等方面的交融与碰撞。
Today, with the rapid development of science and technology, digital technology is changing the model of cultural communication mode at an unprecedented speed. This lecture will discuss the differences in digital culture between China and Vietnam - in digital protection of cultural heritage, digital artistic expression, and AI and machine creating. At the same time, the opportunities and challenges brought by digital culture in the process of globalization are discussed, especially the aspects of cultural promotion, intellectual property protection, and international spread of local culture.
讲座由上海交大文创学院副教授Emma Duester组织发起，长聘教授Geoffrey Alan Rhodes作为主持嘉宾，长聘副教授Sunghan RYU和副教授Emma Duester作为主讲嘉宾，通过实例分析和经验分享，呈现两国在数字化时代下文化深度融合的生动图景。
The lecture is organized by Associate Professor Emma Duester. The event will be hosted by Professor Geoffrey Alan Rhodes, with talks by Associate Professor Sunghan RYU and Associate Professor Emma Duester. Through case analysis and experience sharing, the talks will present a vivid picture of the digital culture in the two countries in the digital age.

Emma Duester

Emma Duester 上海交通大学文创学院（ICCI）副教授。此前，她任职墨尔本皇家理工大学(越南)传播与设计学院讲师，并于2020年担任研究项目“越南艺术和文化数字化”首席研究员。Emma是越南、印度尼西亚和泰国“投资妇女”项目的成员，她与政府和国家媒体合作，为越南的文化发展发声，并在学术刊物以及国内和国际媒体上发表了大量文章。她分别于2021年和2023年出版了书籍《艺术界的移民和流动政治:跨欧洲的波罗的海跨国艺术实践》和《越南的数字化与文化》。
Emma Duester, Associate Professor at ICCI of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Previously, she served as a lecturer at the School of Communication and Design at the Royal Polytechnic University of Melbourne (Vietnam) and served as the Chief Researcher for the research project "Digitalization of Vietnamese Art and Culture" in 2020. Emma is a member of the "Women Invest" project in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand. She collaborates with the government and national media to speak out for Vietnam's cultural development and has published numerous articles in academic journals as well as domestic and international media. She published books "Immigration and Mobile Politics in the Art World: Cross European Baltic Cross border Art Practices" and "Digitalization and Culture in Vietnam" in 2021 and 2023, respectively.

Sunghan RYU上海交通大学文创学院（ICCI）长聘副教授，数字创意企业研究中心的创始主任，担任SAGE商业案例的数字娱乐系列的编辑。他曾在美国南加州大学、英国华威大学和中国北京大学担任客座教授。RYU的研究和教学兴趣主要是文创产业的信息技术创新、创意创业（众筹）、电子商务和数字平台策略、数字化营销和客户关系管理、知识管理，以及创意创业背景下有效的数字技术应用。于2019年出版著作《众筹之美:数字时代盛开的创造力和创新》。
Sunghan RYU is an Associate Professor at ICCI, Shanghai Jiaotong University, founding director of the Digital Creative Enterprise Research Center, and editor of the SAGE Business Case for Digital Entertainment series. He has been a visiting professor at the Universityof Southern California in America, the University of Warwick in the UK and Peking University in China. His research and teaching interests focus on information technology innovation in the cultural and creative industry, creative entrepreneurship (crowdfunding), e-commerce and digital platform strategies, digital marketing and customer relationship management, knowledge management, and the effective use of digital technologies in the context of creative entrepreneurship. In 2019, he published the book "Crowdfunding Beauty: Blooming Creativity and Innovation in the Digital Age."

Geoffrey Alan Rhodes是上海交通大学文创学院（ICCI）长聘教授。他兼任未来博物馆媒体创新工作室主任 (fmmis.org)，专注于增强现实与虚拟现实的研究。2020年加入上海交通大学之前，他曾于芝加哥艺术学院视觉传播设计系领导新媒体设计课程，以及在罗切斯特理工大学电影与动画学院讲授新媒体课程。目前，他正与芝加哥历史博物馆进行新媒体艺术“芝加哥00”项目合作，探究从摄影史中创造虚拟现实体验。
Geoffrey Alan Rhodes is Professor at ICCI. He is also the director of the Future Museum's Media Innovation Studio (fmmis.org), focusing on augmented reality and virtual reality. Before joining Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2020, he led the new media design program at the Chicago Art School of Visual Communication Design Department and taught new media courses at the Rochester Technology School of Film and Animation. He is currently collaborating with the Chicago History Museum on the new media art project "Chicago 00," exploreing the creation of virtual reality experiences from photography.
