Part 1: A summary of the overall exhibition
近日，上海交大-南加州大学文化创意产业学院课程展《天地交通》于6月7日在上海交通大学闵行校区紫气东来门广场举行。此次展览由学院艺术硕士和数字文创与管理硕士专业学生，联袂SpeciaLAND、雷电所、易现EZXR和叠幻AR合作单位共同策划。本次活动通过线下与线上相结合的方式开展，多名师生参与本次展览，这场展览不仅展现了学生们的创意，也标志着AR技术在艺术展示中的创新应用。
Recently, the "Tian Di Jiao Tong" exhibition, a course project by the USC-SJTU Institute of Cultural and Creative Industry, was held on June 7th at the East Gate Plaza of Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Minhang Campus. The exhibition was co-curated by Master of Fine Arts and Master of Digital Cultural Creation and Management students, in collaboration with SpeciaLAND, Raiden INST, EZXR, and DieHuan. Combining online and offline formats, the event involved numerous students and faculty, showcasing the students' creativity and marking an innovative application of AR technology in art display.
在上海交通大学闵行校区，紫气东来门不仅是校园的门户，更是文化与历史的交汇点。这里，一场名为《天地交通》的AR艺术展在此举行。第一单元由《策展实践I》课程学生精心策划，该部分包含了四组作品，学生通过小组合作方式，开展与“上海交通大学”这一特定场域的对话。
At Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Minhang Campus, the East Gate serves as both the entrance to the campus and a confluence of culture and history. The AR art exhibition "Tian Di Jiao Tong" curated by students from the "Curatorial Practice I" course was held here, features four thematic works that engage in dialogue with the university's unique setting.
在未来博物馆媒体创新工作室主任、课程教授Geoffrey Alan Rhodes和ICCI 2024春季驻校艺术家、SpeciaLAND工作室主理人包特的主持下，现场观众使用EZXR App平台扫描二维码，感受学生们运用AR技术，将紫气东来门广场转变为的艺术空间。
Directed by Geoffrey Alan Rhodes and Terrence BAO, the exhibition invites on-site audiences to explore an art space reimagined through AR technology using the EZXR App.
《天地交响》通过石阵与音乐的结合，营造出和谐共鸣的艺术体验。《交大运》以东门的吉祥寓意为灵感，展现了祥云和阳光下的艺术场景。《云开见月明》通过AR作品讲述了盛宣怀创办交大的历史，引导观众体验知识的力量。而《行致远》则以1898年校门木牌坊为起点，激励我们探索知识的海洋，寻找自己的方向。
"Universal Symphony" blends stone and music for a resonant art experience. "Meet Your Lucky Omen" draws on the East Gate's symbolism for an auspicious scene bathed in sunlight. "Clouds Part, the Moon Shines Bright" recounts the founding of Jiao Tong University with AR, immersing viewers in the legacy of knowledge. "Meet Your Future" begins at the 1898 school gate, inspiring a journey through knowledge to discover one's path.
第二单元由《虚拟展馆设计》课程学生完成，总共由12个散落于广场及周边的点位组成，每个点位呈现了一位学生的策展项目或研究方向。
The Section II, completed by students of the "Virtual Exhibition Design" course, consists of 12 spots scattered around the square and its vicinity, each showcasing a student's curatorial project or research direction.
在雷电所主理人黄淞浩和溜溜工作室主理人黄韵莹的主持下，现场观众使用微信小程序Kivicube扫描作品二维码，学生们通过AR技术展现了学生们对现代社会的深刻洞察和创意表达。从探讨求职焦虑到体验数字祝福，从木材的文化属性到精神世界的深度旅行，每一件作品都以独特的视角和互动方式，引发观众对日常生活和个人情感的反思。
Led by Huang Songhao of Raiden INST and Huang Yunying of the New New Studio, visitors used the WeChat mini-program Kivicube to scan QR codes and experience students' AR presentations reflecting on modern society. These works, ranging from job-seeking anxiety to digital blessings, and from the cultural aspects of wood to profound spiritual journeys, each provide a distinct perspective and interactive method, stimulating the audience's contemplation of life and emotions.
这些作品不仅展示了学生们的专业技能，也体现了他们对艺术与科技结合的探索精神。通过这些作品，观众得以体验一场思想和情感的盛宴，感受科技带来的无限可能。
These works not only showcase the students' professional skills but also reflect their exploratory spirit in combining art and technology. Through these works, audiences can experience a feast of thought and emotion, feeling the infinite possibilities brought by technology.
