杨建华博士
Dr. Jianhua Yang
杨建华博士现任华威大学制造工程学院副教授，领导电气与数字学科组。他于 2006 年开始高等教育生涯，在华威大学工程学院担任研究生研究员，同时攻读博士学位。随后，杨建华博士担任生物信息学研究员，最初负责一个FP7项目，后来担任讲师，教授本科生和研究生的各种信息和通信技术课程，并指导博士研究项目。在2018年回到华威大学之前，杨建华博士还在汽车行业有很多经验。
Dr. Jianhua Yang currently serves as an Associate Professor at WMG, leading the Electrical and Digital Discipline Group. He began his career in higher education in 2006 as a postgraduate research fellow at the School of Engineering, Warwick University, while pursuing his Ph.D. He earned his Ph.D. in Intelligent Systems Engineering in 2010. Subsequently, Dr. Yang worked as a bioinformatics researcher, initially on an FP7 project, and later as a lecturer, teaching a variety of ICT courses at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, in addition to supervising Ph.D. research projects. Prior to his return to Warwick in 2018, Jianhua also gained experience in the automotive industry.

在本次报告中，杨博士将深入探讨他利用人工神经网络作为建模工具来预测大脑信号数据模式的开创性工作。围绕社交媒体领域，杨博士与上海交通大学软件学院蒋立红教授合作，开展了开放数据挖掘项目，以揭示各种平台上的模式，包括政府数据集（如Company House）、YouTube、Twitter和TikTok。他将概述正在进行的上海交通大学-华威大学种子基金项目，该项目与Geoffrey Alan Rhodes教授合作开展。杨博士将详细介绍项目的背景、现状以及为推动研究向前发展而采用的先进人工智能工具。杨建华博士还将介绍教育领域最新的沉浸式技术和人工智能驱动发展的新兴机遇和活动，特别是他在华威高等教育学院共同领导的人工智能教育学习圈，以及他所加入的华威VR俱乐部。
In this concise presentation, Dr. Yang will delve into his pioneering efforts of using artificial neural networks as a modellers to predict brain signal data patterns. Focusing on the realm of social media, Dr. Yang, in collaboration with Prof Lihong Jiang, the Software School at SJTU, has embarked on open data mining projects to uncover patterns across various platforms, including government datasets (such as Company House), YouTube, Twitter, and more recently, TikTok. He will outline the ongoing SJTU-Warwick seed fund project, in collaboration with Prof Geoffrey Alan Rhodes, detailing its background, current status, and the advanced AI tools being leveraged to propel the research forward. Dr. Yang will also shed light on emerging opportunities and activities in the latest immersive technology and AI-driven developments within the educational space, in particular, the AI in Education Learning Circle he co-leads at the Warwick Institute of Higher Education, and the Warwick VR Club that he is a member of.
